LAB 2: ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

1. The name of the quadrangle is Beverly Hill, CA
2. The names of the adjacent quandrangles are:
       - Canoga Park
       - Van Nuys
       - Burbank
       - Topanga

       - Inglewood
3. The quadrangle was first created in 1995.
4. NAD 27 and NAD 83 were used as the horizontal datum for the quadrangle while the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 was used for the vertical datum.

6. a) 1/24000 = 5cm/x
       x = 5cm*24000 = 120000cm = 1200m.
